Art You Alive Filmproduction is an award-winning independent film company founded by Daniel Rocque and Kassandra Voss in 2017. To date, Art You Alive has produced two short films, SEA MONSTER and #NOFILTER, both of which have screened at multiple film festivals including (but not limited to): The Vancouver International Film Festival, The Calgary International Film Festival, The Newport Beach Film Festival, Saint Louis International Film Festival, and The Créteil International Women's Film Festival in Paris. In 2019, #NOFILTER received two awards for 'Outstanding Cinematography' & 'Outstanding BC film' at the Short Circuit: Pacific Rim Film Festival in Victoria BC, Canada.
Daniel Rocque
is a director and cinematographer working in Vancouver and abroad for the past 15 years. His work spans a multiple of formats ranging from commercials and music videos to documentaries and feature films. In 2017, Daniel launched Art You Alive Filmproduction with Kassandra Voss. Together, they co-wrote and directed two shorts SEA MONSTER and #NOFILTER, which were well received at festivals around the world. In 2019, Daniel co-produced and lensed two international co-productions in Spain.
Kassandra Voss
is an actor, writer, and director. In 2015, she directed THE NYMPH: a surrealist play about sexual abuse textured with spiritual insight. In 2016 Kassandra directed THE YOGA OF LIFE, which documents the evolving perspectives of several yoga students on a teacher training in South India. In 2017, she co-founded Art YouAlive Filmproduction and developed her first short film SEA MONSTER which she co-wrote, co-directed and stared in along with her second award-winning short film #NOFILTER. Recently, Kassandra starred in two international co-productions in Spain.
