Thunder Bay, located on Lake Superior, is the city known as 'murder bay'. It is one of the most racist and corrupt cities in Canada; where ideas from elsewhere are dangerous and people from elsewhere are not welcome. Human trafficking, police & and local government corruption, gang violence, and drug-ops are among many problems this city inherits. It is a stronghold for drug trafficking in northwestern Ontario, and in the 80s became a profitable source of revenue for violent gangs such as the Hells Angels. 

 

It is a scary and discriminatory place for a male ballet dancer to grow up in. A dark place with few options when luck runs dry and situations become dire. It is a city that breeds hate, and invites the disenfranchised and desperate to hit rock bottom with no chance of escape. This is Thunder Bay...
